MAIA webinars

Webinars are over-the-internet courses conducted LIVE
(not pre-recorded). We believe this format will allow you to receive high quality instruction while watching from your own computer, tablet or smartphone. Webinars combine the convenience of online courses with live instruction and interaction with the instructor!

Webinars offer continuing education (CE) by monitoring you electronically.

START TIME: In order to receive CE credit you must be signed in by the published start time.Please sign in to the webinar at least 15 minutes prior to the published start time. Signing in early (we open the webinar 45 minutes before the published start time) will help to ensure a timely and stress-free sign-in.

INITIAL SIGN-IN: You will be required to sign-in before proceeding to the webinar -- this sign-in attests to the fact that it is you taking the webinar for the entire duration and if CE is needed, your license number and resident state is also required.

RANDOM ATTENDANCE CHECKS: During the webinar, you will randomly be asked by our Course Administrator to respond to an attendance check to show you are present. It is imperative that your response is provided on time in order for you to get your CE.

2-3 Hour Webinars:

SIGN-IN TIME: at least 15 minutes prior to published start time
CLASS TIME: varied - check published start time

  Complete separate registration for every person who wants CE and provide email address for every person.

To run one of our webinars, your computer will need the following: 
1.   A reliable internet connection
2. Working speakers
3. The latest version of Adobe Flash Player. (Most computers already have this so your webinar should start automatically)
4.  If your internet connection is strong and the Webinar won't start or is stuck on "Loading", it's likely one of two reasons:
  A) You do not have the latest version of Adobe Flash Player installed. You may download the latest version (it’s FREE) by visiting
  B) You are using a mobile device (such as an iPad or iPhone) that does not automatically support Adobe Flash Player. Depending on which type of tablet or smartphone you are trying to use, you may be able to download a Flash-enabling browser or program onto your device from your App Store. 

  Disable your pop-up blocker to view presentation

  The DAY BEFORE the webinar, every person who has registered will receive an EMAIL with
  • a link to MAIA's Sign-In page -- once signed-in, you will be directed to a webpage where you will "Enter as a Guest" on the Adobe Connect
  • directions on how to access the webinar
  • directions on how to access the pdf handout of the program material
  • directions on the random checks that occur to receive CEs!

You MUST Sign-in before proceeding to the webinar AND all random checks are required if you want to receive CE for the program.

The CE amounts listed are for Massachusetts, if you are from another state, please check with your state association to see what CE has been granted for the class in your state.

Cancellation Policy:
There will be a $35.00 penalty fee if we are not notified within three (3) working days of the scheduled class. Failure to cancel will result in loss of full registration fee. Please call 48 hours in advance to ensure availability. A $10 charge will be added to all registrations received within 24 hours of the class.
